Hydroseeding is a blend of seed, wood fiber mulch, fertilizer and water. The slurry is mixed in a hydroseeder and sprayed through a fire hose onto your hillside or ground. The seeds germinate more successfully and the new seedlings thrive with the greater protection provided by the mulch. And ultimately, you end up with a better yard than with sod. We also can add wildflower seed to the mix, which when in bloom will attract birds, butterflies and other animals.
